Order of the Eastern Star

The Order of the Eastern Star (OES) is the largest fraternal organization in the world that both men and women can join. Founded on the teachings of the Bible and centered around five heroic women of scripture, the Eastern Star stands as a beacon of charity, truth, and loving kindness.

The Prince Hall Order of the Eastern Star has been a pillar of community service, sisterhood, and empowerment for generations. Members are dedicated to charitable works, education, and the betterment of their communities. The women of OES bring warmth, compassion, and unwavering commitment to everything this Health & Wellness Committee is building for Kansas City.

KC Metro Health & Wellness Committee

The Prince Hall KC Metro Health & Wellness Committee is a brand new initiative born from a simple but powerful belief: that this community deserves better access to health resources, information, and care. Formed under District Two and composed of both Masons and Eastern Star members, this committee was created to bridge the gap between the organization's deep community roots and the real health needs of Kansas City residents.

Our mission spans health education, screenings, mental and emotional wellness, fitness, nutrition, and direct community outreach. The Health & Resource Fair on June 27th is just the beginning.

1. Information We Collect. We collect information you voluntarily provide through forms on this Site (name, email, phone, organization, and any free-text notes you submit via RSVP, vendor, or sponsor interest forms). We also collect technical information automatically through Google Analytics, including approximate location, device type, browser, pages viewed, and referral source.

2. How We Use Information. We use form-submitted information to plan and administer the Event, respond to inquiries, and send Event-related updates. We use analytics data to understand site usage and improve content.

3. Google Analytics. This Site uses Google Analytics (Measurement ID G-W2GVFH29Q1). Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information governed by Google's privacy policy. You may opt out via Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

4. Sharing. We do not sell personal information. We share information only (a) with vendors and service providers who assist in Event administration, under confidentiality obligations, (b) as required by law, or (c) with your explicit consent.

5. Retention. We retain form submissions for the duration of Event planning and for a reasonable period thereafter for historical and accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing staysha.oes@gmail.com. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia may have additional rights under state privacy laws.

7. Children. This Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Photo Release & Event Waiver

By attending the Prince Hall Community Health Wellness & Resource Fair (the "Event") on June 27, 2026, each attendee acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation. Attendance at the Event and participation in any Event activities, including health screenings, physical activities, and educational sessions, is voluntary and at the attendee's own risk.

2. Assumption of Risk. Attendees assume all risks associated with attendance, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss. The Event organizers, host venue, and volunteers do not assume responsibility for such risks.

3. Photo, Video, and Audio Release. The Event may be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. By attending, attendees consent to the use of their likeness, voice, and image in Event-related promotional materials, social media, websites, and future Event publicity, without compensation. Attendees wishing to opt out may notify the registration desk at the Event.

4. Minors. Parents and guardians attending with minors are responsible for the minors' safety and conduct and consent to the above terms on behalf of their minor children.

5. Release. To the maximum extent permitted by law, attendees release the Event organizers, the host venue, and their respective officers, directors, members, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims arising from Event attendance, except for claims arising from gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

6. Governing Law. This acknowledgment is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
